How I Styled It: LuLaRoe Cassie + A Giveaway

For the first Monday of summer break I have a fashion post for you. It isn’t often that I step outside of my comfort zone and post about what I’ve been wearing. But y’all are always so kind to me when I do and this isn’t just any fashion post, it is a LuLaRoe one WITH a giveaway!!!

A couple of weeks back I received the my very first Cassie skirt from Caroline Tiffany. I took one look at it and instantly thought of just how versatile this piece was going to be. Today I want to show you a couple of ways I plan to style this skirt for spring.

The first thing I did was head for my closet to see if I had anything to pair it with. It didn’t take long for me to feel completely torn in two very different directions. One was quirky, playful, and fun. The other was definitely a safer choice, but still cute. Anna and I exchanged a few texts back and forth while I debated my choices. She strongly preferred the safer option, but I was wanting to see how far I could take things with pattern mixing.

So, I decided to share them both with you to see which one y’all prefer. Honestly I don’t think there is a right or wrong choice here. It’s all just a matter of preference/opinion.

LuLaRoe Cassie Pattern Mixing! LuLaRoe Cassie Pattern Mixing! LuLaRoe Cassie Pattern Mixing!

Look one is a simple solid plum tank and summer sandals. Look two pushes the limits of pattern mixing pairing my Cassie with a thick black and white stripe. LuLaRoe has the best patterns, right?! I chose to wear booties in the second look. My first shoe choice was actually my black stilettos… but I packed them away in the purging craziness #fail. I think the booties worked out though and are a really cute shoe for transitioning seasons.

I love this skirt! The fit, the length, the colors, everything is perfect. I am envisioning boots and chambray maybe even “The Vest” with it in the fall and winter. It is such a fun piece that I am so happy to add to may wardrobe!

So, which look is your favorite?
Leave me a comment!

If you are in the market for some LuLaRoe be sure to check out Caroline Tiffany and all of the amazing pieces they have to offer. I am also so excited to announce that they have generously offered to host a giveaway for y’all today.

Good Luck!

  • I love both looks!!! I think Iike #1 the best 🙂 Either way you look great!

  • The stripes and floral look great together. And number two is definitely my favorite.

  • Look number one is what I’m like – YES GIRL – over. You’re just pretty as can be so really it doesn’t matter girl! xoxoxox

  • Lizzie Simantz

Oh my gosh that skirt is gorgeous and you rocked it Mama!! I love mixing patterns but I think I like the first look just a tad better!! Those colors look really good on you!

    • Thank you so much sweet friend. That skirt is SO comfy. I need another.

  • I love the stripes with it! The pattern mixing just makes it pop. You look great!

    • That is exactly what I thought too! Thank you!

  • Heather Bramlett

I love the pattern mixing with it! I would have NEVER thought to mix those together but it looks great!

    • I never would have thought of it myself a year ago. I have changed SO much over a year.

  • So cute! I love that you mixed stripes with pattern! Great job!

    • I love that you gave me the confidence to put those pieces together and you didn’t even know you did :).

  • Cindy Wilcox

I love the purple tank with the skirt and sandals! Such a perfect summer outfit!

    • Thanks Cindy. It is so cute and SO comfy. Winner, winner!

  • Rebecca Gibson

I’m definitely more of a safer choices person so I’d have to say the first one. But the second does look cute as well and I would think that if I saw you out wearing it.

    • Haha! That is awesome to know. I wore the skirt, stripes and sandals to church yesterday and didn’t notice any weird looks being thrown my way, lol!

  • Ashley Negron

I usually like the safer choice, but this time I really like the mixing of patterns! You make it look super cute. And as I was looking at the pics, I literally had the thought: “that would look great with the utility vest!” Great minds think alike.

    • Oh how I love my utility vest. It was my favorite purchase ever! Thanks for choosing #TeamBeth lololol!

  • I like the first look best. I love the pattern of the skirt! I would totally wear it!

    • It is a really great piece. So excited to wear it more!

  • Super cute! You know I love the pattern mixing!

    • Thanks for the confidence boost when I was debating this. When Anna looked at me like I was crazy I instantly wanted to check with you, lol.

  • I love the Cassie skirt! You look great in both looks but I think the striped is my favorite!

    • I love the Cassie too! So comfortable and cute. Thanks Dara!

  • I love both of these looks! But i have to say the stripes look fantastic with the floral print skirt!! So look 2 is my vote. Your hair game is ON POINT !!

    • Oh my goodness, blushing. Thank you so much!

  • I LOVE the pattern-mixing!! But you knew that I would since half of my closet is patterns! Hehe. I think I like that one the best, but the plum is gorgeous, too.

And may I say that you are looking particularly gorgeous in these pics!!!! Your hair looks incredible! You seriously have dream hair. And your new profile picture is my favorite ever!

    • YAY! I totally knew I could count on you for #TeamBeth lol!

You are so sweet friend. I have been feeling a little down on myself lately and you really know how to make a girl feel better. I told Russ he took one really great shot that I was going to use as my profile photo and he asked what kind of commission he would get. Good grief!

  • I love it paired with the black and white stripes! Super cute way of mixing patterns – and not too out of the box, either! Stripes are almost a neutral these days!

    • Amen to that. I am head over heels for all things striped!

  • Sandra Meaders

I like them both. The skirt is very versatile.

  • Whitney Jordan

I love them both!! That’s a great skirt and I am always a sucker for stripes + floral together. I’m guessing you’ll get a ton of wear out of this darling skirt. And your hair is looking amazing! Maybe your next post should be a hair post revealing all of your tips for great hair 🙂

    • I think my secret would be something like I rarely brush or wash it. #kiddingnotkidding Y’all sure made my day with your sweet comments. I really hope to wear the skirt A LOT more. It was a really fun piece to add to my wardrobe.

  • Stripes forever and ever!!! Love it!

  • Super cute! Love all of the different combos you created Mrs. fashion model 🙂 I own nothing LuLaRoe, so I happily just entered the giveaway!

    • You are far too kind. Thank you so much. Good luck on the giveaway friend. All of there stuff is so comfy. I know you’d love it.

  • You are too cute, Beth! I love both looks! The plum pairs perfectly with it and the pattern mixing is super fun! Such a stylish start to summer break, friend! 🙂

    • Thank you so much! Pattern mixing always makes me so happy!

  • Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. I love the pattern mixing and the fun background. I saw some cool buildings in my city last week and actually thought of you and your girls. Is that weird?

    • Oh my goodness, not weird at all. You actually totally just made my day!

  • Love both combos but I really think I’m digging the black and white tank with the skirt the most!

    • Thank you, thank you for voting #TeamBeth, lol!

  • Meegan

I love both looks! But I am really into pattern mixing so Number Two has my ♥!

  • arress

I like both outfits. Not sure how you could choose.

  • Both looks are SO cute! I love that skirt and all of the colors! That would be a touch choice. I love how you paired it with a solid and then a stripe.

    • It was a tough choice for sure. I think it would just come down to the occasion!

  • I love both looks, but I am really pulled towards the striped tank with the skirt. SO cute! Also, you are gorgeous my friend.
