Hello Black Friday!
I honestly wasn’t planning to post today, but Thanksgiving weekend happened to cross pass with Five Things Friday. So, here I am. Five things Friday is one of my favorite monthly posts. Each month I share about 5 things that are bringing joy to my life. It’s a simple way to count my blessings and share what is making me smile.
Since yesterday was Thanksgiving I thought it would be fun to mix things up a bit for this months post. Today I am sharing 5 things I am thankful for, which also happen to bring joy to my life too.
Here are my November 5!
It’s the third month of ‘Five Things Friday‘ on the blog today!
Once a month, on the fourth Friday, I talk about five things that are bringing me joy. It’s a great way to count my blessings and practice a little bit of optimism in a pessimistic world. It does my heart so much good to focus on what is making me smile and getting me through my days. Because let’s be honest, some days are harder than others and finding those little joys in life can make all the difference!
Here are my October 5!
Last month we kicked off and announced the first ever 5 Things Friday! I am so thankful to those of you who didn’t hesitate to jump on board and join the fun. Today kicks off round two and we are hoping that even more of you will play along.
If you aren’t familiar with how it works, let me break it down. Pick five things that are bringing joy to your life, write a post and link up with us on the fourth Friday of every month.
Here are my September 5!

Last week my Friend Crystal, hi Crystal, shared this adorable post on 5 things that were bringing her joy right now. Y’all I LOVED her post. Love, love, LOVED it. I think it is so important to focus on the little things in life that put a smile on our faces. Sometimes pausing to reflect on those things can bring us out of the funk that can so quickly entangle us.
Today I wanted to copy her idea and share 5 things in life that are bringing me joy.
