Donut Love & Fashion

I was given this product to review in exchange for my honest thoughts. All opinions are my own

Have you ever stumbled across an item so perfectly suited for you, that you simply had to have it. Something that is so you, that it seems crazy for it not to be yours? That is exactly how I ended up here today, sharing this with you.

After giggling over one of my sayings with a friend, the idea popped into my head that it would make a hilarious and oh so accurate shirt. I put that thought on my mental back burner and carried on. Days or week later, the thought recurred to me while sitting at my computer. I quickly plugged it in to Google, pushed search, and the rest is history.

What did I Google you’re wondering?! 5 very simple and true words…

Mom Style with prAna

I received this product for free from Moms Meet (momsmeet.com), May Media Group LLC, who received it directly from the manufacturer. As a Moms Meet blogger, I agree to use this product and post my honest opinion on my blog. The opinions posted are my own.

Over the past year I feel like I have learned a thing or two about mom style, including that it actually exists 😆 . For years I only had two kinds of outfits, my “mom clothes” jeans that didn’t’ fit, old t-shirts, and hoodies or my “nice clothes” the stuff that I only wore when leaving the house for a date or to go to church. I completely embraced an outlook that said I wasn’t worth any effort. I never set out to intentionally do so, but day after day of putting myself on the back burner really wore me down and before long those weeks turned to months, turned to years.

In 2016 things began to change.

That is exactly what we did for you today. We swapped partners and chose one outfit of theirs to recreate.

How I Styled It: Favorite Winter Accesories

It’s been over two months since my last fashion post. I was doing so good for a while, but the holidays really distracted me. Today I am back! Once again I am teaming up with Becky, Meghan, and Whitney and this time we are sharing our favorite winter accessories.

Winter in the Midwest is a roller coaster ride. One day you need a parka, the next your sporting short sleeves. It makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Over the years I have learned the best way to be prepared for whatever comes your ways is to layer. I try to keep several versatile pieces on hand that I can wear in many different ways.

How I Styled It: Plaid

Today I’m teaming up with Becky, Meghan, and Whitney again. The last time we collaborated was for my first official fashion post that included me playing “the model”. I felt like I was in WAY over my head, but y’all were so encouraging and sweet. I instantly knew that more fashion posts would be in my future. Just typing those words still feels kind of weird and I am still wrapping my head around the whole idea, but that’s okay. This blog has turned into several things that I never imagined it would.

This time around we chose to style plaid.
