Getting Ready For Gameday

I have said on more than one occasion that we aren’t exactly what one would call “sports fanatics“. However, that doesn’t mean that we shrug off game day fun. We’ve even been known to host a game day party on more than on occasion! For us game day isn’t about the results of the game as much as it is being with friends and family.

Okay, maybe that isn’t being completely honest …

I adore spending time with the ones I love, but I also love the game day food too. Finding a way to mix those is so important for me. I love to find a way to offer my guests something good to eat without spending half of the game in the kitchen preparing snacks. And when I think game day snacks, I think pizza. Anyone else? Pizza is food that speaks to the heart and brings us together. From the biggest fans, to the novice who can barely follow the game.

On a recent trip to Sam’s Club we stocked up on Red Baron Deep Dish Singles & Red Baron Minis Deep Dish Pizzas. Sams is my favorite place to stock up on the things we love. The things that keep us prepared and ready for the unexpected. So when we make a last-minute decision to have people over Sunday afternoon, my worry is never do I have something to feed them. Which is great because I have plenty of other things to worry about… like how clean is my house?!

One of our favorite ways to prepare pizza is to grill it. We have been grilling pizza for years now and I knew it would work perfectly for these Red Baron Deep Dish Singles too. We gave it a try and the results were amazing.

Here’s how you can grill Red Baron pizza at your home on a gas grill:

  1. Light the grill and turn all the burners to their lowest setting. Close the lid and allow the grill to heat up for about 5 minutes.
  2. Place the pizza on the grill and close the lid.
  3. Let them cook for about 15 minutes, keeping an eye on the crust and rotating as needed.

So simple, so good! It’s the perfect way to please a crowd in a hurry.

Not only can you enjoy Red Baron at home, but you can take them along to your tail gating parties too!
