Back To School Memories

This is a sponsored post in partnership with Picture Keeper and BraVoMark. All opinions are mine.

Two weeks from today we head back to school… which leaves me feeling #alloftheemotions . We’re starting our 5th year of home school, WOW doesn’t seem to summarize exactly how shocked I feel over that, and I will be taking our 6th year of back to school photos.

The past 6 years of photos hold some very precious memories. Memories that have all taken place at this house, the home where so many of their childhood firsts happened. As we get ready to head back to school one last time in this house, I may be a teensy bit more sentimental than usual.

2012 Preschool

2013 Kindergarten

2014 First Grade

2015 Second Grade / Preschool

2016 Third Grade / Kindergarten

Looking back through the pas 5 years of photos I am overwhelmed with memories. I remember first days packed full of excitement, jitters, and a sense of being completely and totally unsure of whether this was going to work and what we had gotten ourselves into.

I wouldn’t trade these memories for anything in the world and protecting them is something really important to me. Because we all know that the unthinkable can, and will, happen in an instant. You dump your coffee on the laptop, you drop your phone and shatter the screen, or maybe it lands in the toilet instead. These are just a few real life experience that I have had the “pleasure” of living through.

In just one second all of you photos can be gone which is why it is so important to protect them with products like Picture Keeper. Picture Keeper is a no fuss back up system to protect your memories. With Picture Keeper Connect, simply download the free app, plug-in the drive into your device, and launch the app. Just click Start Backup and let Picture Keeper Connect do all the work. Oh look at their pictures! So sweet! I am so not looking forward to back to school! We start next Wednesday!

    • Oh WOW! I think y’all go back just a few days before we do. Glad to hear it’s not just us!

  • Living on Cloud Nine

Look at those angels!! So sweet and man do they ever look amazing in pink!!! I still Love buying back to school supplies! Happy Monday!

    • Back to school supplies will NEVER get old, lol. They have PLENTY of pink, plenty! As every little girl should ;).

  • Lizzie Simantz

Oh my! Those throwback pics of the girls are just PRECIOUS!!!!

    • Thanks Lizzie. It only broke my heart a little bit to see them all in one post :P.

  • Look at their sweet pictures! I love that we have kiddos who are spaced apart the same! Wooohooo for a great 1st and 4th grade year! Enjoy the next two weeks!

    • Isn’t that so much fun! We will do our very best to do just that. At least our first week back will be half days. We really need to ease back into things :P.

  • OH goodness those pictures! Love it. We need to go get some back to school supplies…need to go find that list. I can’t believe you only have 2 weeks left! Love this system, will have to look into it!

    • Isn’t that crazy! I mean y’all just got out on break and we are getting ready to go back. SO funny how different schools are set up!

  • We currently use Amazon Drive for backing up all of our pictures, but we were just informed they will no longer offer an unlimited plan and we are going to have to start paying more per month for them to keep storing what we have on there. We were SO mad when we found out and it stinks that we can’t be grandfathered in. With that said, we are currently shopping around for something else, and I will now look into this! Thank you!

P.S. The girls. Oh my goodness, so sweet! You have the cutest little peanuts, Beth!

    • This is just SO simple to use and small plus it transports easily. It has a lot of perks. Thank you so much sweet friend.

  • Jessica

Oh my! This pulled on my heartstrings so much. The girls have grown and changed so much. Sweet girls. Amazing how different in just a few short years.

    • This is hard & heart breaking evidence that babies dont keep :(.

  • Those pictures are just too cute! I am going to have to make up a sign for Annabelle to hold, since I love this idea! Also, what a great tool that is! I am trying to get in the habit of taking my pictures off my phone monthly (mainly b/c I run out of space if I don’t).

    • I found a sign that I liked online and saved all 12 years of them so my photos are consistent, lololol. You can buy a REALLY cute sign at Target if you can get your hands on it.

  • Oh my, love seeing them grow over the years!

    • I do too even though it makes my chest hurt, lol!

  • #OhEmily! She is still my favorite human being.
And I love this tool. I may have to invest in it for myself. I need to be better about backing up and saving photos and this tool seems like such a breeze to use.

    • She is ridiculous and so flipping cute. Trouble, trouble I say!

  • They have grown so much!

  • Soo cute! We have a sophomore, 8th grader, 4th grader and a 1st year preschooler this year! Hold on to your hats gents! I probably need to look into picture keeper 🙂

    • Oh my goodness! How in the world is that possible?!

  • Whitney Jordan

Those are the sweetest pictures!! Little Marissa and Emily with all of her flare!! What cute girls you have. No doubt you’ll have another great school year together.

    • I am super optimistic about the coming year. We are changing a lot and I am thinking that mixing things up is exactly what we need this year!

  • Oh friend! What sweet pictures. I loved going back down memory lane and seeing all of their pictures from school years past. That’s a fun little gadget! I’m trying to be better about transferring photos from my phone to my hard-drive. I currently have 4,419 pictures on my phone!!

    • Baha ha! That doesn’t surprise me one little bit. I have been trying to be better about going through and deleting the outtakes from my phone. Instead of 25 photos, I only have 2 Even with that I have A LOT of photos already.
