It’s officially here, our very first spring break ever!!! Spirits are definitely brighter in the Newman house today friends. I absolutely can not wait to spend the next week enjoying my girls and taking some guilt free time away from the computer. We have been waiting so very patiently for our spring break to get here and now that it is am realizing our next countdown will be to the end of our school year. This year has really flown by!
This week on the blog I shared…
Spring Face Lift
In case you hadn’t notice, I spruced things up around here this week!
One of my favorite parts of blogging is easily creating graphics. I had SO much fun creating my newest blog design #givemeallthewatercolorflowers. Things are definitely feeling a bit more spring/summer ready around here now.
For those of you who don’t officially know, Abi Mae is HOME!!! She has actually been home for about 2 weeks now. The first day she came home was the day I started running a terrible fever and I didn’t get to see her for over a week. Talk about unfortunate timing for sure. The first time I was able to hold her I was beaming with joy and so close to sobbing at the same time.
Then, last weekend we finally got our families together and it was a joyous occasion. The #crazyquartet is now officially the #fruityfive. We went to take a photo of the bunch of them together and EVERYONE wanted to hold Abigail. We ended up taking 4 photos just so they all could.
Thank you SO much for all of your love and prayer for this precious girl over the past couple of months.
With Easter just around the corner I thought it was the perfect chance to highlight a couple of my favorite older Easter posts.
Like this book plus resurrection roll activity. EVERY single time I read this book I cry. It is such a beautiful story.
Another favorite from last year was the bunny pie we made.
Never has dessert been so cute and so simple too. Find the instructions here!
Amazing GRace 2017
Last week Marissa ran her second 5K and I have to take a moment to say how ridiculously proud I am of this girl. She ran it in 30:02! That is more than 3:00 faster than last years time and with less training too! She really has a knack for running and I hope that she loves it for many, many more years.
This won’t be the last race she has this month either. Tomorrow we’ll be doing a 1 mile fun run and later this month she has a half mile competitive race. So exciting!
Have a great weekend friends!
We’ll see you back here on Monday!
