2017 Spring Bucket List

Last week I shared our ‘Spring Break Fun List’, that we will eventually  πŸ™„  get to work on when we finally get to take our spring break. So to keep us busy in the mean time, I want to share with you our seasonal spring bucket list that we’ll continue working on until the first part of June.

For a brief moment I considered not making a list. We are in the middle of purging the house and moving some of our stuff into storage. After that we will live in a home that needs to be “show ready” on top of all the work that we have to do on our property.

But despite all of this, I want to keep things as normal as I can for the girls. I don’t want to miss out on memories and traditions during this hectic season of our lives. I may be naive and I know sacrifices will be made, but I want to keep as much normal for them as we can.

Have you made a spring bucket list yet?

Now it’s time for Tuesday Talk!
We would love to have you link up whatever you have going on today!

Great list! I know that you will enjoy this list and the spring break one. I can’t wait to see you check the items off.

    • Thanks Jess! Now if it would act like spring we could get started!

  • Lizzie Simantz

Love your list friend! We need to paint rocks too, my kids love doing that! What is cruise night? Sounds fun!

    • People around here have been painting them and leaving them at parks for others to find and such. It’s pretty cool!

  • These are all great things to do this spring…Cruise Night, that sounds fun!

    • Well, its really just a fancy term for a car show, baha ha, but we think it is a blast.

  • I need to get on the Spring Bucket list. Its in my calendar, but I keep forgetting to get it done. I love your list, and bet you will be able to get most of it done. πŸ™‚

    • Oh man I didnt post mine until nearly May last year, you still have LOADS of time :).

  • Heather Bramlett

What a fun list! Chalk art mural sounds fun! Can’t wait to see y’all’s!

    • I thought that would be a really neat, new addition for us!

  • Nope, haven’t made my spring list yet! But I plan to! The chalk art mural sounds like a fun thing to do!

  • What a great list! I hope you manage to check everything off of it! XOXO

    • I THINK we possibly could, as long as we stay busy!

  • I hope you are feeling much better sweet friend! I am sorry that it postponed your Spring Break, but you will be able to enjoy it so much better. And it just gives you something to look forward to a little while longer. This is a great list and I can’t wait to follow along with you guys through Spring!

    • Finally all better over here. I think our break being delayed worked out just fine. It ended up being cold and rainy here this week, not ideal spring break weather.

  • Having a bonfire is a GREAT idea! It’s fun AND it’ll give you a chance to burn up some of that brush that you guys chopped down. Two birds with one stone! I hope that you’re feeling better this week! I hate that you guys had to postpone your spring break. I know how excited you were for it.

    • You are a girl after my own heart for sure friend. That is EXACTLY what I was thinking when I put that on the list. I think the spring break waiting was for the best it has been SO cold and rainy this week. Surely it will be better in 8 days.

  • She a fun list!! Looking forward to hearing about those sweet family adventures to come as you check them off! πŸ™‚ xo – Brenda // ChattingOverChocolate.com

    • Thank you so much! I hope we don’t totally bomb this list!

  • That’s a great list! Thanks for hosting!

    • I thought it was a good list too, thank you!

  • Bring on Spring — as I type that I’m covered in goosebumps because I can not get warm.

    • Girlfriend I hear you there. High temp today is like 52.

  • Cruise night! Tell me more… I’m sooooo ready for nicer weather!

    • Cruise night is just a fancy term for car shows around here, lol. That always confuses people.

  • Such a fun list! I can’t wait to get our bikes out!

    • Oh me too! I am hoping we can pick up right where we left off!

  • Whitney Jordan

Sounds like a great plan! I love that you’re planning to have fun in the middle of the busy times. I think it’s more likely to happen when you’ve already thought out a fun to do list. I’m excited about your chalk mural, Easter treats and date night. It’s been too long since we’ve had date night!

    • We haven’t had a date night in FOREVER too. At least an intentional one with a plan and nice clothes lol! Having a plan is definitely key to not missing out.

  • April showers…the very best time to dance in the rain!!
