Winter Bucket List 2017

It’s a first around here, a winter bucket-list!

Typically we make one for the spring, summer, fall, and Christmas, but the season of winter gets overlooked. Now that the girls are older (and aren’t so easily entertained) I thought we would create a winter list to keep us busy. After all, there are 10 weeks of winter to go…  A little piece of my happiness just died.

* Hot cocoa by the fire
* Winter date night
* Family movie night
* Make a winter craft
* Indoor s’mores night
* Play in the snow
* Make snow ice cream
* Family game night
* Go sledding
* Make a Valentine treat
* Make a St. Patrick’s Day treat
* Make a Valentine craft
* Send snail mail
* Make a bird feeder
* Fancy dinner at home
* Make a new soup for dinner
* Go for a walk
* Create snowman art
* Make Valentine cards
* Build a snowman
* Make paper snowflakes
* 14 days of what I love about you

Looking at this list I feel like it is set up for failure. Finishing it means trusting that we actually get some snow around here. We haven’t had a decent snow in nearly 2 years! My girls have been so anxiously wishing and waiting for snow too. So, we’ll just have to do our best and cross our fingers.

 Have you ever made a Winter Bucket List?

We made a #winter #bucketlist for the very first time and I'm sharing it on this weeks #TuesTalk Click To Tweet

Now it’s time for Tuesday Talk!
We would love to have you link up whatever you have going on today!current-tues-talk

  1. I was wondering if I should do a winter themed bucket list myself. So true about the snow activities depending on the snow actually falling – but you can just keep in mind that it’s dependent on that!

  2. I toyed with the idea of a winter bucket list but if I’m being honest, some days we just need a free calendar with NO PLANS or to do’s. I may just hold off till Spring and do one then!

  3. Come on now Momma….I know you are not one to fail!! Who says building a snowman has to actually be made OUT OF SNOW! πŸ™‚ I actually saw a super cute idea on Pinterest with a snowman made from plastic pumpkins and it was super cute. What kid doesn’t want to be let loose with some spray paint. lol

  4. Your winter list is a good one! Date night and indoor s’mores are right up my alley!

  5. Smart thinking! I’ve never done a winter to do list and I’m not sure why that is. I could easily copy and paste your list because it sounds like so much fun. Indoor s’mores, sledding, holiday crafting, snail mail and fancy dinner are my favorites. I’m hoping to fix a fun Valentine’s Day family dinner this year πŸ™‚

    1. That is exactly when I was planning to do ours. I am thinking candle light, a fancy menu with multiple courses and having everyone put on some nice clothes. It should be a lot of fun!

      You can totally copy my list too, if you want :)!
