I haven’t always been able to say this, but I am a morning person. However, I like my mornings with plenty of organization and a really big latte. Today I want to talk to you a little bit about both. My plan is to share some tips and tricks to help make those early hours more productive and efficient.
#1 Be Prepared
One of the best tips to having a more organized morning is to set yourself up to succeed the night before. Anything from picking out clothes, setting timers on coffee pots, making lunches, and more. If you can save yourself the trouble in the morning and have one less thing to do, do it.
#2 Wake Up Earlier
I know, I know. Waking up earlier than you need to is hard! But even giving yourself an extra 10 minutes pays off. You are then rewarded with extra time to get ready or maybe a few minutes to sit down. Plus, if your morning doesn’t go the way you had planned, those extra minutes really help out.
#3 Think Positive Thoughts
This one takes practice but can be the key to success. If the first thing you think about every morning is how tired you are or the parts of your day that you are dreading it doesn’t give you much motivation to get out of bed. But, if we direct our thoughts in a positive way we can find motivation to get moving.

Don’t be afraid to plan out your morning. It doesn’t have to be a written out managed schedule, but by planning what needs done and when, you can create a routine to keep you on track.
#7 Be Consistent
Morning routines take time and practice. If you are just starting out realize that the first week isn’t going to be easy. Don’t give up! The sooner you discover what works for you, and stick with it, the easier it will get. Trust me on this on.
