It has been a whirlwind of a week friends but it is finally Friday. This week feels like it was at least an entire month-long. I can’t believe all that we have done and felt in only 7 short days. Have you ever had one of those weeks?
Let’s check out this week’s 5
This week on the blog I shared…
Happy Birthday Russell
Today this guy turns 37!
Birthday plans include his annual birthday meal of cheesecake, lasagna and who know’s what after that. The plan is to keep festivities pretty low-key this year, which is exactly what we need right about now.
I would tell you to leave him a birthday wish, but he doesn’t read my blog 🙄 . To quote him “I don’t need to read it, I live it.” I hope y’all believe me when I tell you he can be quite the handful some days.
So now the question we are all wondering, does your spouse read your blog? Leave me your answer in the comments.
We made a whirlwind trip up to St. Louis for Grandpa John’s funeral this past weekend. It was a beautiful celebration and testimony of God’s grace. We are so honored to call him ours.
I want to say a HUGE thank you to those of you who have reached out with messages of support for our entire family over the past week. We really, really appreciate your love and prayers during this difficult time.
I have been asked several times how I make my graphics and today I will give you the DL.
I do all my photo editing in PicMonkey. Shockingly enough I don’t own fancy photo editing software, but I also try to shoot my photos so they only need very minimal editing to save time.
I find LOTS of my graphics on Pixabay. I LOVE that I can find so many amazing images that I can legally use FOR FREE!
Once I find the perfect graphic I create images like these in Canva. My absolute favorite font that I use on 95% of my graphics is Brusher. The exception to the rule would be creating collages. I always do those in PicMonkey. So to clarify, I made all of those graphics in Canva, but put the collage you see together on PicMonkey.
I hear you either love PicMonkey or Canva, never both. I personally feel like each has their own strength and I couldn’t live without either of them.
A few of my favorite blogging friends have been knocking it out of the park lately and I want to share some of my favorite posts from this week with you.
Have a great weekend friends!
We’ll see you back here on Monday!
