Last week was the week for my monthly Target trip. If I am being completely honest I tend to be more of a Wal-mart girl on a day-to-day basis than a Target one. Realistically that is probably for the best, I know the budget would seriously suffer if things were switched. However, I do make sure I take at least one monthly trip to Target to browse the aisles and see what I can find. I tend to be all business at Wal-Mart, but at Target I can play.
This month I had help on my trip. With an upcoming girls weekend away I thought it may be best to make this trip a day time one. So while big sister was attending VBS, Emily and I went to Target. I must admit Target with a 5-year-old left me feeling much more scatter brained than normal.
Here are a few things we found…
The banner selection was on point I found several I loved including this shape one for $3
The string lights and gel pens have been long time maybes that I just haven’t committed too.
I also loved this pompom garland.
Mickey shoes for 5.98. Too small for me and WAY to big for Emily.
This dress was 7.48 and super cute, but I felt it would be a bit shapeless on me.
I found this wallet for 4.48. I really need a new wallet, still, but just haven’t been able to commit to one.
$1 for these pretty page markers, I can always use things like that.
I was beginning to feel like this trip may equal a total bust and then we hit the kids clothing department. The clearance racks were full of basic essentials with some SERIOUS mark downs. Add that to an extra 20% off on the Cartwheel app and I cleaned house.
Here is this months haul!
Two shirts @ 1.20 each
Two camis @ .96 each
Two pairs of leggings @ 1.44 each
I quickly figured that I was only around 7.20 so I grabbed my $1 page tabs, let Emily pick out a $1 something and then we impulsively grabbed a Kit Kat in the check out lane.
Our total, $10.31.
It’s all “the candy bars” fault!
But really for $10.31 I think this may go down as one of my best savings ever.
Today on the blog I am sharing this months #10atTarget haul. #TargetDoesItAgain Click To Tweet
Plus I got to spend my morning at Target with this girl. It doesn’t get much better than that :).
