Today I want to share a product with you that I couldn’t possibly be more excited about and no, I am not obligated to say that.
For years I have been interested in making my own hummus. I’ve researched and pinned recipes but never anything more than that. Why? It wasn’t simple, convenient, or affordable. I hate hunting down expensive ingredients for a recipe only to never use them again.
Now there is a product that changes everything,
Bush’s Hummus Made Easy.
It was the perfect solution to my hummus dilemma. It is convenient, delicious and affordable not to mention an extremely versatile product. Plus it can be conveniently picked up at your local Wal-Mart. This past weekend we had the pleasure of hosting a party to show case some of the amazing things you can do with Hummus Made Easy. I can’t wait to share some of the recipes and photos with you over the next few weeks.
Starting with this…
Seven Layer Dip has been a long time favorite of mine and it has NEVER been this good. I can’t even tell you how many times I was told that at the party. The black bean hummus adds just the right twist to this recipe to take this classic dish to the next level.
- 1 Package Bush's Hummus Made Easy Black Bean
- 1 Can Black Beans
- 6 Ripe Avocados
- Lime Juice
- 3 Cups Sour Cream
- 16 oz Cheddar shredded
- 6 Green Onions sliced
- 1/2 Cup Olives sliced
- 2 Tomatoes diced
- Milk (optional)
- 1) Mix the Bush's Hummus Made Easy and black beans according to the package directions and evenly divide among 16 cups or spread in the bottom of a 9x13 pan.
- 2) Mash the ripe avocados adding a squeeze of lime juice and salt to taste. Top the black bean hummus with a layer of guacamole
- 3) Next is a layer of sour cream. Depending on the thickness of your sour cream you may need to thin it out with a little bit of milk so it spreads more easily.
- 4) Top with Cheddar, olives, tomatoes & green onions.
- 5) Chill until ready to serve.
